The parties have the flexibility to agree on a schedule and where the mediation process will be conducted. In fact, the parties can also agree to mediate remotely using available telecommunication tools.
As for arbitration, the parties can basically agree on an arbitration forum or arbitration institution to be used (also called institutional arbitration, among others: BANI, BASYARNAS, BAPMI) or form a provisional arbitration forum by choosing its own arbitrators and determining its own administrative processes and procedures for arbitration proceedings (also known as ad hoc arbitration).
